Dear Chanel Alumni -Class of 1986Hoping that this letter finds you content and in good health! As incredible as it seems, this upcoming spring marks twenty years since we have graduated from Chanel High School. For many of us, high school represented a time of tremendous personal and social development. While not always easy, those times were filled with new experiences that greatly affect and influence us on our way towards becoming adults. It is often during high school that we forge our deepest and most lasting friendships.
Twenty years is a long time, and many of us have changed in many ways; careers, marriage, children just to name a few. However, our experiences at Chanel are a common thread that we all share. Many of us came from significantly different backgrounds and yet we still managed to get along and create a pretty unique fraternity-like atmosphere that can only be found at small, all male schools.
As 2006 fast approaches, a small committee has begun planning for the class of 1986 20th reunion. We have selected the weekend of May 19th-20th as the target date. It is our mission to make this event fun, unique, affordable and most of all rewarding. We invite you to contribute any ideas towards making this event memorable. We will be sending out occasional letters, and emails to keep you up-to-date on all current developments. We have set up a weblog (www.c-high86.blogspot.com) online where we will post all current news and activity. Check this site often for the most up-to-date information. Attached is a list of current committee members and their contact information.
Again, we hope you are as excited as we are and look forward to hearing back from all of you.
Sincerely,
Class of 1986 Reunion Committee
